Changing or resetting your Sunrocket gizmo to a new provider

The SunRocket Gizmo telephone adapter converts voice signals from your telephone into the digital "IP" format required for transmission over your broadband connection. The gizmo is connected to your DSL or cable modem, your PC or router, and to any digital phone.

The Sunrocket Gizmo is actually an ATA Adapter. ATA stands for Analog Telephone Adapter. It is a converter.

These are instructions on how to set up a new VoIP provider on your SunRocket™ Gizmo.

1) Disconnect your WAN port from the gizmo

2) Open your browser and, just like going to any other web site, go to 192.168.251.1/Voice_adminPage.htm - the IP Address will verify if you changed the default settings in the gizmo. If so, use that address, but DO NOT FORGET the /Voice_adminPage.htm at the end.

3) Login using your admin password. If you do not know the password, try USER: admin PASSWORD: 1234
Another known admin password is 7UprUtew

4) Turn off provisioning if you have not done this already. To do this, go to NETWORK -> Provisioning setting. Uncheck the "Enable Provisioning" box and hit the "Save and Reboot" button. After rebooting, you may not be able to login to the admin account since the reboot will default to index.htm. Hit CANCEL, and go to »192.168.251.1/Voice_adminPage.htm to login.

• Registration Expiration time: 3600
• Preferred Codecs List: PCMU/8000
• Choose "NONE" for all others.
• Click "Save" button.

g) Hot Phone Number:
h) Use T38 FAX: Yes

j) Repeat steps b-i for line 2, changing C) from 5060 to 5061

Turn off your device for 10 seconds, turn it back on and let it reset. If you are behind a router you may need to reset it too.
